Bike riders often decorate their aluminium bike frames with paint and stickers. Over time, these decorations can accumulate unattractive scratches and gouges. Remove the stickers and paint with a single cleaning agent, retail gasket remover. Used as a stripper, gasket remover cuts through the stickers and the paint, stripping your bike frame to the bare aluminium.
you can also use other paint removers such as nitromors/strypit/polycell/ paint remover using this same method
here is an easy step by step guide for you to follow
things you will need
safety glasses
Dust sheet
Masking tape
Gasket remover
Rubber putty knife
1 Place a dust sheet in a well-ventilated area with room enough for you to access the frame from all sides.
2 Mask off any section of the bike frame from which you don't wish to remove paint or stickers with masking tape.
3 Spray the bike frame with a moderate coating of gasket remover, holding the container six to 12 inches from the frame. Let the remover set for two to three minutes until the paint begins to bubble and the stickers begin to buckle.
4 Scrape away the gasket remover and the paint or stickers with a rubber putty knife, working from one edge of the sprayed area straight across to the other edge in rows. If sections of the material prove too tough to scrape away, reapply the spray and wait an additional two to three minutes before continuing to scrape. This process will remove all but the smallest amount of glue residue beneath the stickers.
5 Spray the frame with the gasket remover a final time to cover the sticker glue residue. Wait two to three minutes then use a paper towel to wipe away the gasket remover along with the adhesive from the stickers.
6 Remove any residue of the gasket remover using a mixture of mild liquid soap and warm water. Apply with a clean, damp cloth and rinse away with clean water. Pat the frame dry with another piece of cloth. Remove the masking tape from the frame.
and there you go your frame should be back to bare metal again and ready for you to re-apply ur new paint
